Jennifer Hall

image

Born in Africa, Jennifer Hall spent half her childhood in East Africa and half in rural Suffolk, eventually studying at the Norwich School of Art where she obtained a BA Hons in Graphic Design. Working in London as a designer and then in advertising in Edinburgh, she married in 1985 travelling with her family to Belgium and Germany.

Her sudden return from Germany in 1999 with her three children, kick started her into taking a BA Hons in Fine Art at the Suffolk College/UEA, which she completed in 2003. The opportunity of a studio at Butley Mills was snapped up, giving her the chance to learn the art of bronze casting, and in 2005, she rejoined the Sudbourne Park Printmakers. She is currently learning and experimenting with the many different print processes available. Her print, Ploughed Field, Suffolk (see below), was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2008.
