Peter Beeson studied Wildlife Illustration in South Wales for four years covering many aspects of art. On leaving college he worked for a decade in various schools for children with Special Educational Needs. He has been a househusband to his three children since 1995. During this time he has continued to pursue his art around other duties!
Over the years he has sold many paintings, completed several commissions and has regularly taken part in exhibitions throughout the region including the annual Suffolk Show. He has submitted work for various wildlife organisations and taken part in a touring wildlife exhibition in Hampshire.
On two occasions he has won awards for his work, which led to work being published, and then exhibited in the Mall Galleries London. Local ornithologists groups have for many years used his black and white line drawings in various publications.
He was introduced to the process of etching whilst at college. He has regularly shown work at Sudbourne Park exhibitions. Other exhibitions include two joint shows with other group members. The first at Butley Galleries September 1997, and the second at the Chambers Gallery Ipswich September 1999.
